STAMPS AND POSTAL HISTORY

Under the direction of Danilo Quintarelli, the department deals with postage stamps and documents of historical interest
postal with special interest in philately of the ancient Italian states.
In particular, individual pieces or entire collections are sought and offered of:

● New and cancelled stamps;

● Philatelic precursors and prephilatelic letters;

● more generally, items that, having been forwarded through a postal service, are the subject of
of postal history collecting.

A scholar and collector, Danilo Quintarelli has been involved in philately for twenty-two years. He holds the position of
expert of the IV issue of Sardinia for the Studio Peritale Romano since 2016 and has been a member of the A.F.I.
Italian Philatelic Association since 2019. He has especially deepened his study of the postal history of the
Ancient Italian States.
