patinated bronze, bevelled bowl supported by three hippocampi. On the cap as many swans with webbed legs joined by garlands. A faun sitting with a syringe acts as a grip for the stopper. An eclectic and highly original object, combining Renaissance motifs by reworking them in the best tradition of 19th-century historicism. Height: 15.5 cm, diameter 14.5 cm. Weight 1045 g.
