St. George and the Dragon, Germanic Area 16th-17th century?

Bronze, brown patina
26x12x8,5 cm

This St. George and the dragon is clearly of Nordic origin, most likely German, where it was a popular iconography, represented in various techniques.

The style is close to Renaissance production, as well as patina, however scientific examinations are recommend to help establish the period.  Visual examination appears to confirm pre-nineteenth-century production.

To be further studied.
