Papal States Silver wax jack - Rome 19th century after 1815

of circular shape, made in openwork with geometric and floral motifs, with hinged lid and silver handle. The central wax winder supports the remains of a wax coil. Fully hallmarked with the chamber marks in use in Rome after 1815 for silver at 10 ounces and 16 denari (889/1000) and with the mark of the silversmith GZ.
