Bronze mantel clock "The Reader" - France, 19th century, signed SCHÜLLER A PARIS

Green marble and gilded bronze case with base, surmounted by a gilded bronze reading female figure.  Circular dial with Roman numerals signed  "Schüller a Paris", movement with wire suspension, pendulum regulator and hour and half-hour chime on bell. Original model designed by J.A.Reiche in 1805.
