Lacquered and gilded console table - Venice, 18th century

a white and gold leaf, carved over the entire exposed structure, the front and sides decorated with laurel leaf festoons. The four truncated-cone legs are fluted and adorned at both top and bottom with carved leaves. Not contemporary marble.
