Investiture Controversy, Italian school, 16th century

Scene with a female? figure in the act of putting a tunic on a male character who has his hands clasped; all inside a niche with two cherubs on the sides. In the tympanum, God the Father in act of blessing, holding the globe with the cross in the left hand. Under the tympanum, in the architrave  writing NDVOTEVESTIMETO.SAL.  Frame made of columns decorated with foliage columns at the base of which are cardinal coats of arms. In the bottom at the center a cross.
Very rare ancient casting. The reverse engraved with rhombuses and floral motif and iron handle.
