A pair of important silver candelabra, Rome, early 20th century

Height x Width x Depth: 68.2 x 46 x 46 cm. Total weight: 15 kg.

Stepped circular base decorated with foliate volutes and shells, tripartite shaft with cascades of doubloons and shells, from which depart six foliate arms with double volutes; bobeche decorated similarly to the base with wax-safe nozzle.
Hallmarked "A. Grandis - Roma" - "AG" within lozenge outline - "833".
Attilio Grandis was a Roman goldsmith who used to produce silverware for the royal household.
Item condition grading: **** good.
