Bronze trophy, named with an engraving at the base COPPA ULISSE IGLIORI, period from the second half of the 1920s, presumably for some tournament involving football teams for regional clubs in Lazio, such as AS ROMA and SS LAZIO. Beautiful representation of two women in the guise of victory holding the cup applied to the top of the sculpture, resting on a marble base. Very good condition.

Ulisse Igliori (Florence, 18 December 1895 โ€“ Rome, 19 September 1966) was an Italian politician, sports manager and entrepreneur, lieutenant of the Royal Army, gold medal for military valor in the First World War, BOLD protagonist of the Fiume enterprise in 1919. He founded the Roma football club together with Italo Foschi, Vittorio Scialoja and Renato Sacerdoti. He was a deputy and then a national councilor from 1924 to 25 July 1943
