Folio (the leaf 327 x 220), contemporary attractive binding in red morocco gilt on boards with golden floral border, golden fillets on spine (small hole at foot), pastedowns and flyleaves with contemporary colored paper, golden edges, a very wide, clean, unsophisticated copy.
Engraved plate depicting the medals of the order bound before the printed title, large engraved vignette of St. Stephen at title (120 x 155 mm), large engraved heading at 2nd leaf (92 x 150 mm), full-page engraved portrait of Marie Therese of Austria, 3 full-page engraved portraits of knights of St. Stephen in the parade dresses, 1 full-page engraved plate showing the crown and the necklace of the order (these same illustrations are repeated in the german version).
