OVIDIUS PUBLIUS AMORUM LIBRI TRES. DE MEDICAMINE FACIEI LIBELLUS ET NUX, Venezia 1518
In folio
(6) 89 cc Complete
Coeval vellum worn at the corners with some tears, loose spine. Complete
Frontispiece framed within a beautiful frame adorned with foliage and flowers and three woodcuts in the text, as well as some large initials engraved in wood.
Example with a tear on the f. 61 and related loss of about twenty words of text, several marginal wormholes that sometimes invade the print, a reinforcement on the title page but, overall, apart from the wear and tear of time, quite well preserved. Very rare edition unknown to Schweiger and Brunet.
