The work replicates the central part of the procession depicted in the painting of a Navy with the arrival of a prince kept at the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, it has been the subject of a complex attributional history involving Christian Reder, Jacques Courtois, Jan de Momper known as Monsù X and Jacob de Heusch.
