A pair of Italian silver candelabra, Naples, circa 1830

Height 36 cm, base diameter 13 cm. Total weight 1660 g (832 + 823 g).

circular shaped base with embossed "cocciolette" decoration, truncated cone-shaped stem, the upper part with three arms and four flames, the arms in the shape of a double hedgehog with acanthus leaves. Hallmarked by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000 or 10 ounces, 1832-1872, assayer Gennaro Mannara, silversmith not identified.

Item condition grading: **** good, minor signs of use commensurate with use over time, in need of polishing.
