Italian silver teapot, Naples, 1832-1872

Height 21 cm, width with handle 27 cm. Weight 1039 g.

pyriform body resting on four scroll and foliate feet with "cocciolette" and ribs decoration, the lid with the final in the form of a pear and wooden handle. Hallmarked by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, 1832-1872, assayer Gennaro Mannara, and with the mark of an unidentified silversmith.
Item condition grading: **** good, minor signs of use commensurate with use over time.
