Italian silver coffee pot, Naples 1832-1872

Height x diameter: 23.5 x 9 cm. Weight 416 g.
plain ovoid body with monogram resting on a circular foot, tapered neck with moulded pourer and zoomorphic spout. Hinged lid with pinecone grip, ebonised wood handle. Hallmarked  with the mark used by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, 1832-1872, and with the silversmith's initials R.P. for Raffaele Parascandolo.

Item condition grading: **** good, signs of use commensurate with use over time.
