Beautiful and rare DC-6B four-engine model with ALITALIA, I-DIMO livery. The aircraft entered service in 1954 and was decommissioned in 1961. The model is contemporary, original from the 1950s, used as a promotional vehicle by ALITALIA itself, for management offices, or travel agencies.
Fuselage structure made of metal alloy, boxed sheet metal wings removable by means of fixing screws, with two three-bladed propellers on each side, rotating, on an original metal alloy support painted black. Wingspan of the model approximately 71 cm, length from snout to tail 62 cm. Height of the pedestal/base approximately 19 cm. Fire-painted, livery with hot-fixed decals, in excellent condition, with normal wear and signs of aging, slight deficiencies on the tail rudder.
