Beautiful photo printed on black and white cardboard of the Minister of Public Works, Zenone Benini, with dedication and autograph signature to his friend Eng. Giuseppe Pini, dated 1 August 1941 - XIX
The photo portrays the Minister in party uniform, sitting intently on his work. Photo Istituto Luce, in excellent condition, the external part has several folds and tears, which can be reduced by trimming the passepartout itself. Internal image size 19.7x25 cm
Zenone Benini was at the Grand Council meeting on 25 July and voted for the motion of no confidence in Mussolini. Benini had not been invited to the discussion, however he was considered close to the positions of Ciano and Grandi and was therefore suspected by the fascists of treason
