printed in 50 thousand copies in Italian. However, this was not immediately understandable, so one was also commissioned from Ugo Ojetti who wrote the following
"PEOPLE OF VIENNA! Get to know the Italians. We fly over Vienna, we could drop tons of bombs. We only give you a three-colored salute: the three colors of freedom. We Italians do not make war on children, on old people, on women We are making war on your government, the enemy of national freedoms, on your blind, stubborn, cruel government which cannot give you peace or bread, and feeds you with hatred and illusions. PEOPLE OF VIENNA! You have the reputation of being intelligent. But why have you put on the Prussian uniform? Now, you see, the whole world has turned against you. Do you want to continue the war? Continue it, it's your suicide. What do you hope for? The decisive victory promised you by the Prussian generals? Their victory decisive is like the bread of Ukraine: we die waiting for it. PEOPLE OF VIENNA, think about your cases. Wake up! LONG LIVE FREEDOM! LONG LIVE ITALY! LONG LIVE THE INTESA!"
and which was printed in 350 thousand copies on paper with the Italian tricolour, also translated into German, together with another 150 thousand copies of another leaflet with a pacifist text, also translated into German.

This is the flyer with the text prepared by D'Annunzio which reads
"On this August morning, as the fourth year of your desperate convulsion comes to an end and the year of our full power begins luminously, the tricolor wing suddenly appears to you as a sign of the turning destiny. Destiny turns. He turns towards us with an iron certainty. The hour of that Germany that drags you down, humiliates you and infects you has forever passed. Your time has passed. Just as our faith was the strongest, our will predominates and will prevail until the end. The victorious fighters of the Piave, the victorious fighters of the Marne feel it, they know it, with an exhilaration that multiplies the impetus. But, if the impetus were not enough, the number would be enough; and this is said for those who use to fight ten against one. The Atlantic is a route that is already closed; and it is a heroic route, as demonstrated by the brand new pursuers who have colored the Ourcq with German blood. On the wind of victory that rises from the rivers of freedom, we have not come if not for the joy of daring, we have not come if not for the test of what we could dare and do when we want, in the hour we choose. The roar of the young Italian winger does not resemble that of the funeral bronze in the morning sky. However, the happy audacity suspends between Santo Stefano and the Graben a non-revocable sentence, O People of Vienna. Long live Italy!"
