Mussolini, Benito (Dovia di Predappio, 29 luglio 1883 – Giulino, 28 aprile 1945)

Interesting lot of memorabilia from the twenty years of fascism, which belonged to Benito Mussolini's personal barber, Mr. La Fata.
The lot includes a manual hair clipper and a brush, which were used daily by the barber La Fata and exclusively for the Duce.

As per the article which appeared in the newspaper GENTE (of which a photocopy is attached) and from the book "The Blacksmith's Son" by Mino Caudana, published by CEN, where on page 915 we read about the "... new Sicilian barber La Fata, replacing the deceased Neapolitan agent of P.S. Sciarretta, who for many years now has been shaving the Duce's very harsh beard"
The heirlooms come from the La Fata family
