Lot of 3 silverplated metal parade trays, early 20th century

Dimensions 50 x 36.4 cm; 43.3 x 35.5 cm; 42.7 x 35 cm. Total weight 2820 g.

made of silver-plated metal, the three parade trays are in the Renaissance style and are respectively rectangular and oval shaped. They feature floral decorations with masks and birds on the edges. Two trays has two bucolic scenes in the centre and the rectangular tray has, in the center, a scene from the life of Sancho Panza bearing a descriptive inscription that reads  "L'ingegnoso Hidalgo, Don Quy de la Manhia - Capitolo XIX - II parte - De lo que sucedio a Sanche Panza ron dando su insula".
