A SMALL GUAN-TYPE CÉLADON GLAZED CERAMIC VASE

The vase is preserved in a Japanese box made of hinoki cypress wood, on the upper side of which appears the inscription 南宋官窑青釉/ 卮瓶/ 甲斐和男珍藏 (nan song guan yao qing you/ zhi ping/ jia fei he nan zhen cang, “Guan-type céladon pottery from the Southern Song dynasty/ Zhi-type vase/ collection of Kazuo Kai”).
