Freestanding clock, 18th century

35 x 22 x 12 cm

with a circular dial in gilded bronze and engraved with floral reliefs, with Roman numerals in blue on white enamel and Arabic numerals on the outer edge, it has two holes for winding and striking. Movement with wire suspension and pendulum regulator; percussion ring with bronze bell,  machine signed Gite Martinot aparis.  Plinth case on four feet  conical trunk, with side walls in glass and veneered wood  and threaded  in brass.
Conditions: machine not tested, small flaws and defects in the cabinetry.
