Pair of baluster vases,, France, mid-19th century
26.5 x 7.3 x 7.3 cm
with short neck ending on a round foot resting on a quadrangular base. Over the shoulder flared hem opening and pair of ring sockets with figure medallions. Decoration in pure gold and on the front with a bouquet of flowers, on the back, dotted flowers on gilding.
Conditions: wear to the gilding as from use over time.
