Being the leader of all the Moors of Africa, Agramante commands the kings of the countries subject to him, including the very strong king of Algiers Rodomonte and the equally capable Mandricardo, despite the latter being the emperor of Mongolia. Wanting to defeat Charlemagne and his paladins to avenge the death of his father Troiano at the hands of the young Orlando in Aspromonte.
