after Francois Gérard's painting today preserved at the Musée National des Chateaux de Versailles et de Trianon. Etching, 670 x 490 mm (plate), 700 x 545 mm (sheet). Rare state before the addition of the title. LeBlanc 24.

Copies of the print were used by the Prince as gifts (Le Blanc). Very fine, silver-tone impression printed on laid paper. Overall, very good condition, except for traces of foxing.

Very nice, well inked impression on wove paper. Copy missing the lower margin with the legend, reconstructed. Otherwise in good condition.
