Sterling silver case with guilloché enamels in shades of blue, mounted on a tilting base. White dial with Arabic numerals and gold hour markers, featuring the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss Made". Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1930-1931, silversmith A L Davenport Ltd. A L Davenport Ltd was a British silversmithing firm founded in 1891 in Birmingham, England. Known for producing high-quality silverware and timepieces, the company gained a reputation for its craftsmanship and attention to detail. It was active throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
