Case in sterling silver with guilloché enamel in shades of blue; featuring the Royal Air Force (RAF) emblem on the top; white enamel dial with Roman numerals and black hour markers. Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1930-1931, silversmith Albert Carter. Albert Carter was a renowned British silversmith from Birmingham, known for his high-quality silverware and enamel work. Carter's period of activity was primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was granted a royal warrant as silversmith to Queen Mary.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
