Art Déco silver and enamels table alarm clock, Switzerland, 1920s - 1930s

Carriage clock case in sterling silver with guilloché enamels in shades of purple; white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers, featuring the inscription "8 Jours". The watch is key wound and set. Hallmarked on the underside with "Patent - Argent - 0.935 - JTC - 8962" and with the Swiss 935/1000 silver hallmark used from 1882 to 1934. Inside the case lid, the inscription "211655". JTC, or Jacques-Turrettini & Cie, was a Swiss watchmaking company founded in 1856 in Geneva. Renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship, JTC specialized in precision timepieces and luxury watches. The company was active until the mid-20th century.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement requires a technical service.
