Rectangular sterling silver case with guilloché enamel in shades of purple and white enamel borders, mounted on a rose quartz base. Purple guilloché enamel dial with a gold hour bezel, Arabic numerals and black hour markers. Movement with hour, quarter, and minute repetition. Signed "E. Mathey Tissot & Co. Switzerland - Fifteen 15 Jewels - Three Adj - 7319". Key-wound and key-set. Externally marked "Tiffany & Co.". Inside the case, "E. Mathey Tissot & Co. Switzerland", "Argent - 0.935 - Sterling" and the dedication "Mrs Frank Barackes - Chicago, Illinois". Tissot & Co., founded in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Émile Tissot in Le Locle, Switzerland, is a renowned Swiss watchmaker. Their partnership with Tiffany & Co. combined Swiss horological expertise with Tiffany's renowned luxury branding.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; minor defects to the enamels and the dial. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
