Sterling silver case with guilloché enamel in shades of blue, gold dial with Arabic numerals and luminous hour markers, with the inscriptions "Finnigans - 8 Days - Swiss Made". Fully hallmarked London import marks 1928-1929, importer Stockwell & Co (George Stockwell) and "Argent Doré - 0.925 - FMC". Finnigans was a brand known for high-quality timepieces and watches, often associated with Swiss craftsmanship. Stockwell & Co, led by George Stockwell, was an importer based in London, active from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. They were recognized for importing and distributing luxury watches, including those from Swiss manufacturers, particularly during the 1920s.
