Art Déco silver, ivory and guilloché enamels table clock, France, 1920s - 1930s

Height x width x depth: 6.5 x 7.6 x 1.2 cm. Weight 199.6 g.
Oval-shaped silver and brass case decorated with elephant ivory (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) and guilloché enamelling in shades of blue; blue enamel dial with Arabic numerals and luminescent spheres with inscription 'Finningans - 8 Days - France'.
The case hallmarked with the marks for silver at the minimum fineness of 800/1000 in use in France after 1838, casemaker 'A G' unidentified.

Item condition grading: **** good.
The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation minor vertical defects to the enamels.
The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.

This lot, accompanied by a CITES certificate and expertise issued by Ce.S.Ar Centro studi archeometici, is only available for sale with shipments within the European Union.
