(a) hallmarks in use in Hanau, Germany, silversmith Ludwig Neresheimer & Co, with the mark of importer Berthold Muller and with the complete set of import hallmarks in Chester in 1899-1900.
b) 925 and unidentified marks.

Item condition grading: **** good.
The salt cellars are in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; hinge of one lid desoldered.
