Shaped circular case in sterling silver with a guilloché enamel front in shades of pink and a black enamel border with star-shaped decorations. Gilded dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers, featuring the inscriptions '8 days - Swiss made'. Fully hallmarked on the edge Birmingham 1926-1927, silversmith Henry Matthews. On the back of the brass case: 'SWISS MADE'. Henry Matthews was a renowned British silversmith, active primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His business was based in Birmingham, an important center for silver craftsmanship and other precious metals.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; slight imperfections on the black enamel border. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
