Case in sterling silver with guilloché enamels in shades of pink, silvered dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers featuring the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss made". Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1929-1930, silversmith Henry Matthews. On the back "OLD FIELDS LTD - 33- 38 … STREET..." (unreadable). Henry Matthews was a renowned British silversmith, active primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His business was based in Birmingham, an important center for silver craftsmanship and other precious metals.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
