Sterling silver case with guilloché enamel in shades of blue, gilded dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers, featuring the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss made". Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1930-1931, silversmith Henry Matthews. Henry Matthews was a prominent British silversmith, active primarily in the late 19th century and early 20th century, based in Birmingham, a city renowned for its tradition in silverware and precious metal craftsmanship.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; minor imperfections in the enamels. The watch movement requires a technical service.
