Sterling silver case with guilloché enamels in shades of pink, mounted on a tilting base. Gold dial with Arabic numerals and gold hour markers, featuring the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss Made". Fully hallmarked Birmingham 1929-1930, silversmith Henry Matthews. On the back, the inscriptions "Betty - April 7th, 1933". Henry Matthews was a renowned British silversmith, active primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His business was based in Birmingham, an important center for silver craftsmanship and other precious metals.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement requires a technical service.
