Pair of Italian silver salt cellars, Florence, early 20th century

Height x width x depth: 7.5 x 11 x 3.5 cm; Total weight: 255 g.

of elongated shapes with a geometric shaped base, decorated on the front with six-pointed stars in blue enamel; in the centre a winged female figure on the back of a dolphin flanked by shell-shaped basins with a gilded interior.
Underneath a gilded rhomboid cartouche with the inscription "M. Nelli, Casa di B. Cellini, Florence''.
Apparently not hallmarked, tested with acid and touchstone, they are guaranteed to be silver.

Item condition grading: **** good.
The salt cellars are in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
