Pair of French silver salt cellars, Paris, 19th century

Composed of two side-by-side hoof-shaped basins on a Dutch model, with central sockets depicting a pair of peasants in the round.
950/1000 silver, hallmarked with the Minerva's head mark in use in Paris from 1838, silversmith "A* - T" and with the inscription "Depose".

Item condition grading: **** good.
The salt cellars are in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
