Solid slver and indigo guilloché enamels case, rectangular shape. White dial with Arabic numerals, dot hour markers and luminescent hour markers bearing the iscriptions '8 DAYS - MADE IN ENGLAND'. On the back side 'SMITHS'. Apparently unmarked; tested with acid and touchstone, it is guaranteed to be silver. Founded in 1851 by Samuel Smith in London, Smiths Group plc, known simply as Smiths, grew to become one of the largest manufacturers of precision instruments in the United Kingdom.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time. The watch movement requires a technical service.
