Sterling silver case with floral decorations and guilloché enamel in shades of yellow, silvered dial with Arabic numerals and gilded hour markers, featuring the inscription "8 Days - Swiss Made". Hallmarked "Sterling silver" and silversmith W. G. Sothers Ltd. W. G. Sothers Ltd was founded in 1913 by William George Sothers. The company emerged during a period of significant development for the British silverware industry, when Birmingham was a major center for the production of silver and precious metals.
Item condition grading: **** good. The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time; minor imperfections in the enamels. The watch movement is currently working but may requires a technical service.
