Engine turned silver case with light blue guilloché enamel, topped by an elephant ivory sculptural group (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) consisting of two putti and a vase of flowers; the watch with gilded dial and Arabic numerals with inscription 'Walser Wald - Buenos Aires'.
Walser, Wald y Cia. was a famous jeweller's shop with official headquarters in Buenos Aires at Florida 664, with a few other shops in the city and another in Mar del Plata.
The company in the 1920s and 1930s was also Patek's official importer for Argentina, so important that it was able to request exclusive models from Patek itself and other Swiss manufacturers.
Hallmarked at the bottom with the French import mark of the 'swan' in use since 1893 and with an unidentifiable mark.

The case of the clock is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
