Scripta volant #1, 2013

Shaped book
cm. 18x7x3,5

Each work has a limited edition of 7 multiples plus 3 artist's proofs.

The work is part of the "Scripta Volant" cycle, consisting of five books cut out, coffin-shaped, with a circular saw: The Bible, the Torah, the Koran, Capital and Mein Kampf. The coffin is an extreme metaphor for how we confront our past and our future. With the crisis of ideologies and religions, what is left for us besides mourning or forgetting?
