Γlvaro Izquierdo is a Chilean artist known for his exploration of Latin American themes of identity and landscape. Working mainly with pictorial media, Izquierdo addresses issues of cultural memory, transforming everyday elements into symbols that represent the conflicts and contradictions of contemporary society. His works, characterised by a strong component of introspection and social analysis, have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums in Chile and abroad.
