Old original edition printed in Rome in the VII year of the Republican Era (ca. 1799), agricultural treatise for the cultivation of the Roman countryside. The first edition is from 1777 (Rome, Salomoni). The author intends to provide precepts relating to the cultivation of wheat to farmers in the Lazio countryside. At the end of the work there is the Monthly List of Works and Chores, the Alphabetical Index of the items specific to the art and the Tariff of Wages and Expenses. Although criticized by Filippo Re, the work contains specific indications useful for the Roman countryside with its peculiar land structures. The engravings, of notable beauty and vivacity, clear and printed on heavy paper, are by Cosimo Zocchi.
