Format in-8ยฐ, mm. 150x110, cc. (10), 295, (1). Complete. Back binding in full old parchment with gold titles on the spine. Trimmed edges, in blue. With stamp on the front and on the penultimate leaf. Fair restoration on the back flyleaf, with tear in the colophon. The A1 leaf is detached. Clear text. Sporadic foxing.
Cinquecentina printed in Venice in 1550 for Baldassare Costantini. Collection of fragments presented as the work of Greek and Roman writers, The Kings of Babylon, Supplement to Manetho, Xenophon on the Misunderstandings, First Book of Fabio the Painter, Myrsilio on the Pelascian War, Fragments of M. Cato etc.. In reality a forgery by Giovanni Nanni, published for the first time in 1498. Text translated into Italian by Pietro Lauro (16th century). typographical mark on the front.
