Famous work by Suetonius (Latin historian, c. 69 AD - 122), includes, in chronological order, the portraits of the "twelve Caesars": Julius Caesar and the first eleven Roman emperors, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Galba, Otho, Vitellius, Vespasian, Titus, Domitian. Each chapter with a header depicting the emperor's portrait in woodcut.
