Declaration of the Psalms of David, made by the RPF Francesco Panigarola, to the Most Serene Infante, the Duchess of Savoy. In Venice in 1587 for Bernardo Giunti. Work of the bishop Francesco Panigarola (1548-1594). Coat of arms engraved on the frontispiece, headers and initials in the text. There is 1 engraved plate outside the text depicting King David in prayer. Format in-8°, pp. (8), 501, (3). Contemporary binding in full old parchment with handwritten titles on the spine. There is a tear in the lower corner with small loss of text on the Aa1 leaf (Psalms 369-370). Small losses on the covers. Sporadic foxing and browning.
