Old original edition of 1608, printed in Venice. Work of the Italian poet Cesare Caporali (1531-1601). The most significant text of Caporali, it was published in Venice in 1604 and dedicated to Ascanio II della Corgna (1571-1606). Biography in tercets, divided into ten chapters, the work narrates the events of the third Roman triumvirate, focusing in particular on the so-called war of Perugia between Octavian and Mark Antony.
