Work of the Spanish writer Antonio de Guevara (1480-1545), with the intent of chronologically continuing the historiographical work of Suetonius (Lives of the Caesars) by adding ten other Roman emperors (Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, Commodus, Pertinax, Julian, Severus, Bassianus, Heliogabalus, Alexander Severus). Text translated into Italian by Mambrino Roseo from Fabriano (16th century).
