Format in-8ยฐ, mm. 155x105, cc. (8), 231. Copy missing the colophon (last leaf, Ff8). Later binding (17th or 19th century) in full old parchment with gold titles on the spine. Spray cuts. Large typographic device on the title page, with woodcut vignette in an illustrated frame: Sibilla. Clear text, roman italic. Slight stain on the lower margin of the first 4 leaves and last 3.

Cinquecentina printed in Venice in 1544 for Michele Tramezzino. Work of the Spanish writer Antonio de Guevara (1480-1545), with the intent of chronologically continuing the historiographical work of Suetonius (Lives of the Caesars) by adding ten other Roman emperors (Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, Commodus, Pertinax, Julian, Severus, Bassianus, Heliogabalus, Alexander Severus). Text translated into Italian by Mambrino Roseo from Fabriano (16th century).
