Dutch solid silver warmer, 1837

Height x width x depth: 27 x 17 x 5 cm. Total gross weight: 405 g.
circular in shape, openworked and engraved with floral and vegetal motifs; it rests on three claw feet set on turned round wooden supports, with a copper bottom. Fitted with a turned wooden side handle.

833/1000 silver, hallmarked with the silver guild marks used in Netherlands from 1814 to 1953; Lion passant mark for the 2nd standard purity (minimum 833/1000), the Minerva head mark (duty mark) and the date letter mark โ€œCโ€ for 1837.
